Nourisi ®Polyanionic cellulose polymer delivers consistent, reliable, and high-performance characteristics across demanding applications. Whether for deep-well drilling under extreme conditions or precision formulation in food and pharmaceuticals, PAC provides the functional versatility and process stability that modern industries demand.
Functions as a primary fluid loss reducer, viscosifier, and rheology modifier in water-based drilling mud systems. Effectively controls filtration, stabilizes boreholes, and maintains performance under high-temperature (up to 150°C) and high-salinity conditions—including seawater and saturated brine environments. Also suitable for workover and fracturing fluids.
Serves as an additive in cement, mortar, and tile adhesives, providing excellent water retention, improved workability, anti-settling properties, and enhanced adhesion.
Used as a coating binder, surface sizing agent, and retention aid. Improves paper strength, smoothness, ink absorbability, and oil resistance.
Food-grade PAC (designated as E469) acts as a stabilizer, thickener, and emulsifier in products such as dairy items, ice cream, and sauces.
Serves as a tablet binder, emulsion stabilizer, and thickening agent in shampoos, skincare formulations, toothpaste, and other personal care products.
Functions as a thickener, dispersant, suspending agent, binder, and water-retention agent in textile printing, paints and coatings, ceramics, detergents, rubber latex stabilization, and leather processing.
Nourisi ®Polyanionic cellulose polymer exhibits extraordinary and useful properties:
Water Solubility:Readily soluble in both cold and hot water, forming clear, viscous solutions
Thickening & Rheology Control: Forms a three-dimensional network structure that enhances viscosity and improves suspension stability
Fluid Loss Reduction: Creates low-permeability filter cakes on formation surfaces, significantly reducing filtrate invasion into permeable zones
Salt Tolerance: Maintains performance in high-electrolyte environments, including seawater, KCl solutions, and saturated brine, without flocculation
Thermal Stability: Stable up to 80°C in aqueous solutions; short-term resistance up to 150°C in drilling fluid applications
Shale Inhibition: Highly polyanionic nature binds to positive sites on formation substrates, encapsulating shales and drill cuttings to inhibit dispersion and swelling
Shear-Thinning Behavior: Exhibits reversible viscosity reduction under shear, enabling efficient pumping and circulation
pH Stability: Effective across a wide pH range (approximately 4 to 12)
Bacterial Resistance: Resists bacterial attack, eliminating the need for additional biocides or preservatives in most formulations
Environmental Compatibility: Non-toxic, tasteless, and biodegradable; complies with stringent environmental regulations
Compatibility Compatible: with all common mud-treating additives and other water-soluble polymers
Nourisi ®Polyanionic Cellulose conforms to API 13A. However, we recommend that the user ensure that this product is in compliance with the local regulations in force, particularly in the country where the product is to be consumed.
